Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Clarence Cap Theriot, 79, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 11:00AM with Fr. Bill Rogalla officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM on Friday, July 28, 2006 at David Funeral Home of Erath with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM, and will remain open all night until the time of services on Saturday, July 29, 2006. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mr. Theriot a native of Youngsville and a resident of Erath died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 6:30PM at Lafayette General Hospital. He farmed most of his life then after retirement he bought a Lafitte Skiff and started shrimping. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Hilda Girard Theriot of Erath; a son, Gerald Theriot of New Iberia; two daughters, Judy T. Broussard of Pecan Island, and Sandra Faye Theriot of Erath; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Etienne Theriot and Elda Delahoussaye Theriot; and two brothers, Stephen and Percy Theriot. Pallbearers will be Gerald Theriot, Rusty Theriot, Johnny Broussard, David Hardin, Kip Barras, and Blane Byon Decuir. Honorary Pallbearer will be Frank Girard David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements
