Jeanerette"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. William J. Fremin, the former Anna Mae Guidry, 77, of Jeanerette will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Fremin passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. in her Jeanerette residence.

A native of St. Martinville, Mrs. Fremin was a longtime resident of Jeanerette. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she served on the Rosary Group. Mrs. Fremin was a member of Ladies Auxilary #8150, and she was a former member of Entre Nous. She retired as part owner of Best Drug Store. Mrs. Fremin enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs.Fremin to Hospice Of Acadiana 2600 Johnston Street Suite 200 Lafayette, LA 70503.

Survivors include her sons, W.J. Fremin and wife, Betty of St. Martinville, Jerry Fremin and wife, Coleen of Cade, and Robert Fremin and partner, Steve Heppding of Orlando, FL ; daughters, Linda Hebert and husband, Daniel of Jayess, MS, Julia Judy Boudreaux and wife, Steve of Jeanerette, Liz Derise and husband, Bobby of Jeanerette, and Cynthia Tiny Stevens and husband Neil of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Daniel Hebert, Jr., John Hebert, Kerry Hebert, Gerald Fremin, Jr., Zaius Fremin, Clint Fremin, Phillip Boudreaux, Quinta Boudreaux, Virginia Derise Landry, Bob Derise, T.J. Prados, Nicole Prados, Matt Prados, and Neil Stevens, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Hebert, Luke Hebert, Chole Hebert, Jake Hebert, Madyson Hebert, Presley Hebert, Kay Fremin, Jacob Fremin, Landon Fremin, Marc Boudreaux, Cyan Boudreaux, and Katelyn Landry.

Preceding Mrs. Fremin in death are her husband William J. (Bill) Fremin; parents, Rene and Julia Dore Guidry; brothers, Cyrus, Wade, Lester, Francis and Sylvain Guidry; and sister, Edia Frederick.

Serving as pallbearers are W.J. Fremin, Jerry Fremin, Robert Fremin, Steve Boudreaux, Daniel Hebert, Bobby Derise, and Neil Stevens.

Named as honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Fremins grandchildren.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
