Clarence Dubois

Abbeville- Funeral services were held Monday, September 18, 2006 at 2 pm at David Funeral Home Chapel, Father Bill Rogalla, and Deacon Vaughn officiated the funeral service for Mr. Clarence DuBois, 82. The family request that visitation be observed Sunday September 17, 2006 from 5 PM till 10 PM and reopen Monday from 8 AM till time of service. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 7 PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at St. Mary Magdalean Cemetery in Abbeville.

Clarence was born in Maurice, Louisiana on August 29, 1924 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 16, 2006 at 5:30 pm at Lahasky Nursing Home in Erath, La.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Babineaux DuBois, of Abbeville,La.; one daughter, Deborah Ann Richard, and her husband George Dale of Kaplan, La.; one granddaughter, Stacey Marie Richard, of Baton Rouge, La.; two grandsons, Scott Dale Richard and wife Holly of Prairieville, La, Nicholas Ryan Richard, of Baton Rouge, La.; one great-grandchild, Preston Richard of Prairieville, La. He is also survived by one brother, Howard Dubois of Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Dubois, and Leona Meaux Dubois, a brother, Daniel Dubois, two sisters, Melba LeBlanc and Viola Meaux.

Serving as PallBearers were Nick Richard, Scott Richard, Randolf Meaux, Kenneth LeBlanc, Jimmy Hebert, and David Pino. Honorary PallBearer was Preston Richard.

David Funeral Home of Abbeville is in charge of arrangements.
