LAFAYETTE - Funeral services was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at David Funeral Chapel of Lafayette, for Luther "Ed" Lawson, 49, who died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, in Youngsville. The Captain officiated the services. Visitation was held Saturday, 23, 2006, from 9 a.m. until the time of services at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery of Milton. He was born Sept. 27, 1956, in Westerville, Ohio. He was the son of the late Edgar and Shirley Bittner Lawson. He lived in Youngsville for the past few years. He served in the United States Army, attended Philip Barbour High School in Philippi, W. Va. and loved carnivals, as well as restoring old vehicles. He is survived by three sons, Edgar Allen "Mickey" Lawson, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Bruce and Eddie Lawson, of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Robert H. Lawson, of Omaha, Neb.; and three sisters, Linda J. Foster, of Latrobe, Pa., Bonnie A. Fredmund and her husband James, of Waldorf, Md., and Patricia G. Romansky and James, of Derry, Pa.; and nine nieces and nephews. David Funeral Home of Lafayette was in charge of the arrangements.
