New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for J. Rennes Falgout, 83, on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chris Doumit officiating. Interment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum in Loreauville. Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 PM. A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Falgout died on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at 5:50 PM in a New Iberia hospital. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a Senior State Trooper with the Louisiana State Police after 25 years of service and went on to work at the Iberia Parish Sheriff Office for 16 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #4 in New Iberia. He is survived by his wife, Joan Gonsoulin Falgout of New Iberia; his daughter, Genie Migues Segura and her husband Teddy of New Iberia; his son, Creig J. Migues and his wife Chris of New Iberia; his sisters, Edmae Falgout of Delcambre and Ludie Viator of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Callie Migues of Austin, TX, Chase Migues and his wife Leslie of New Iberia, Seth Segura of Orlando, FL and Shaun Mestayer and her husband Zach of Baton Rouge and his great granddaughters, Alix and Catlin Migues both of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odressie and Ida LeBlanc Falgout; his sister, Laurie Delcambre; his brothers, Linwood J., Willis Bozo , Nelson, Felix and Wiltz J. Falgout. Pallbearers will be Seth Segura, Randal Falgout, Creig Migues, Teddy Segura, Tony Falgout, Danny Viator, Chase Migues and Paul Falgout.
