New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Leo Jean Green, Age 77, at 11:00AM Friday November 27, 2009 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday November 26, 2009 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM and again Friday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Beaumont, Texas and longtime resident of New Iberia Mr. Green died Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 1:50AM at his residence. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and worked for Eurest Support Services for 38 years. He enjoyed gardening and being with his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart of Hospice, 201 West Vermilion, Lafayette, La. 70501. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Rush Green of New Iberia; sons, Phil T. Green and wife Connie, Timothy W. Green and wife Teresa and Robert Green and wife Kay all of New Iberia; a sister, Dorothy May of Lucedale, Mississippi; a brother, Robert A. Green of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren, Tonia Hyde, Phil Tee Green II, Katie Taylor and husband Jeff, Heather Romero and husband Nick, Matthew Green, Michael Green, Erin Romero and husband Brady, Lauren Green, Melanie Green, Melinda Green and Benjamin Green and great grandchildren, Balie Dore, Katlyn Dore, Daniel Taylor, Gabriel Taylor, Phillip T. Romero and Sarah Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny A. and Gertrude Holden Green; his son, John W. Green; brothers, Johnny and Larry Green and a grandson, J.W. Green.
