Lafayette- Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 11AM at David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette for Agnes Hebert David, 91. The Rev. Louis Vu will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Youngsville. The family requests that visitation be held Monday, December 11, 2006 from 1 pm till 9pm and reopen Tuesday from 8 am till time of service. A rosary will be prayed Monday evening at 7pm Agnes was born in Youngsville on June 7, 1915 and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Abbeville General Hospital in Abbeville at 7:40pm She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Stakes Toups of Delcambre and Lois Stakes Babineaux and her husband Nolan of Delcambre; her sisters, Anna Mae Aucoin of Abbeville, Emerite LeBouef of Broussard, and Girlie Hebert of Abbeville; a brother, Clarence B.B. Hebert of Abbeville, and a special Godchild, Beverly T. Giardelli of Abbeville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Simon David, her first husband, Richard Joseph Stakes, Sr., her father, Eloi Hebert and mother, Anastasie Hebert, her sisters, Inez Primeaux, and Irma Guilbeaux, a son, Richard Stakes, Jr., and a brother Clement Hebert and a grandchild, Erica Stakes.
