New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Webster Hebert, Sr., the former Ruby Maw Maw Blanchard, age 83, at 1:00PM Saturday November 18, 2006 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30PM Friday November 17, 2006 at David Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Friday November 17, 2006 from 5:00PM till 10:00PM and again Saturday from 8:00AM till time of service.
She died Friday November 17, 2006 at 12:30AM at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish. Mrs. Hebert was a member of both the American Legion Auxiliary Post 335 and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1982 who will conduct a ritual immediately following the Rosary Friday evening.
Survivors include her husband, Webster Hebert, Sr.;three sons, Webster Hebert, Jr. and wife Irene; Charles Hebert and fiance Margie Louviere and Kerney Hebert and wife Judy all of New Iberia and one sister, Jeanne OFlarity also of New Iberia, six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sidonia Blanchard Blanchard, brothers, Louis, Otto, and Laurent Blanchard, sisters Rose Broussard, Lucy Savoie, Martha Domingue and Margaret Peltier and a daughter-in-law Patricia Derouen Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Webster Hebert, Jr., Charles Hebert, Kerney Hebert, Danny Romero, Brandon Hebert and Glen Gary. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Steele, Lance Castille and Chad Hebert.
David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
