Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mrs. Elwood Steve Stevens, the former Estelle Suire, 84, will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with deacon Chris Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from 10:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Pauls Cemetery. Mrs. Stevens a native of Cow Island and a resident Abbeville died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at12:18PM at Abbeville General Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and talking to people. She is survived by a son, Carlis Vincent of New Iberia; a daughter, Annette V. Meaux of Lafayette; three brothers, Clemile, Roy, and Drozen Suire all of Crowley; her twin sister, Stella S. Broussard of Pecan Island; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Steve Stevens; her parents, Ophelyas and Nedia Bourque Suire; and two brothers, Marcelle and Olin Suire. Members of the family and friends will serve as pallbearers David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling the Arrangements
