Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Lelia Pommier Primeaux, 83, will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Mayne officiating.. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, November 23, 2006 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM by the St. Theresa's Ladies Alter Society. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 24, 2006 from 8:00AM until the time of the services with interment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mrs. Primeaux a native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Abbeville died on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 8:40AM at Eastridge Nursing Home. She was a member of the St. Theresas Ladies Alter Society. She is Survived by her two daughters, Linda Faye McClanahan of Abbeville, and Brenda Ann Menard of Lafayette; one brother, Adolph Pommier of Buna, TX; four grandchildren, Harvey Duplantis, Jr. of Boston, MA, Kevin Duplantis of Abbeville, Corey Menard of Lafayette, and Tiffany Menard of Lafayette; four great grandchildren, Elisabeth Duplantis of Abbeville, Kyle Duplantis of Abbeville, Alex Duplantis of Boston, MA, and Seth Menard of Lafayette. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Amanda Touchet Pommier, a son, Clifford Monteaux, her first husband, Eulis Monteaux, her second husband, Jules Girouard, two sisters, Alsina Durocher, Lucia Gaspard, and a brother, Sevenia Pommier. Pallbearers will be Harvey Duplantis, Jr., Kevin Duplantis, Corey Menard, Steven Menard, Johnny Petry, and Carrol Gaspard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lonnie Monteaux, Gene Monteaux, Jr., and Preston Gaspard David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling the arrangements
