Loving Mother & Grandmother Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Gloria Sanders Brasseaux, 79, on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Calvary Pentecostal Church with Rev. A. J. Lyle officiating. Interment will be in Loisel Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday August 3, 2009 at 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home. Visitation will resume August 4, 2009 at Calvary Pentecostal Church beginning at 8:00AM until time of service. A native of Port Arthur, TX and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Brasseaux died on Saturday, August 1, 2009 in a Lafayette hospital. Her hobbies were sewing and puzzles. She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Gauthier and her husband John of Franklin and Penny Lynn Romero of New Iberia; her son, Chris Brasseaux of Jeanerette; her brother, Donald Sanders of New Iberia; her sister, Billie Reeves of Vidor, TX; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Bonin Sanders; her sons, Ricky Brasseaux and Danny Brasseaux, Sr.; her brother, Tom Sanders and her sister, Lois Verret.
