Matthew Scott Arnaud

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Matthew Scott Arnaud, Age 1, at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 31, 2006 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ken Waguespack officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of The Lake Cemetery in Delcambre. Visitation will begin Saturday December 30, 2006 at David Funeral Home in New Iberia at 2:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. The funeral home will remain open all night. He died Wednesday December 27, 2006 at 1:35PM in a local hospital.

Matthew was born in Lafayette and residing with his parents in Delcambre. He enjoyed playing with his toys and dancing. He loved playing with his dog Trixi. His favorite treat was a Popsicle.

Survivors include his parents Scott J. and Dawn Gorman Arnaud of Delcambre; Maternal Grandparents, Lucas and Judy Gorman of Delcambre; Paternal Grandparents, Willie and Jackie Arnaud of New Iberia and Donna Menard Arnaud of Coteau; Paternal Great Grandparents, Eugene and Mary Jane Menard of Coteau; Godmother, Tammy Melancon of Coteau; Godfather, Toby Cormier of New Iberia; Uncles, Eric Arnaud of Parks and Ronnie Simon of New Iberia; Aunt Heather White of New Iberia; Great Uncles, Darrel Menard of Coteau, David Menard of Baton Rouge, Kenneth Arnaud of New Iberia, Keith Arnaud of Loreauville and Larry Carline of Addis, La.; Great Aunts, Debra Menard Andre and Dayna Menard Verret both of New Iberia, Denise Niece Menard of Coteau , Vickie Arnaud of Loreauville and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Willie and Mildred C. Arnaud, Sr.; Maternal Great Grandparents Leonard and Marie Dorsey, Great Uncles Leonard Coco and Rickey Dorsey and Cousins Daniel Menard and Jake Simon.

In lieu of flowers donationscan be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.

Pallbearers will be Toby Cormier and Ronnie Simon.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
