Abbeville - Funeral Services for Mrs. Joseph Nedley Leger, Sr., the former Eunice Trahan, 84, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at The David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Deacon David Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Wednesday, January 2, 2007 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 3, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Leger a native of Leroy and a resident of Abbeville died on Sunday, December 30, 2007 in Abbeville. She enjoyed Watching TV; Doing crossword puzzles; and her puppy Missy . She is survived by a daughter, Betty Campisi of Kaplan; three sons, Nedley Leger, Jr. and his wife Clara of Abbeville, Jimmie Paul Leger, Sr. and his wife Peggy of Custer, SD, and Carl Lee Leger and his wife Vicky of Erath; two sisters, Enite Weekley of Abbeville, and Lily Bordelon of Metairie; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nedley Leger, Sr.; her parents, Edmond and Editha Duhon Trahan; a sister, Mary Simon; two brothers, Dallas Trahan and Wallace Trahan; and a son-in-law, Russell Campisi, Sr. Pallbearers will be Chris Campisi, Carlos Campisi, Tommy Leger, Todd Leger, Jimmy Leger, Jr., and Steven Corner.
