New Iberia-Funeral services for Douglas Houston Hope age 44 will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday December 20, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Saturday December 20, 2008 from 9:00 am until services. A native of Winter Haven, Florida and a residence of New Iberia, Mr. Hope died Saturday December 13, 2008 in Lafayette,LA. Mr. Hope was a Dive Superintendent for Triton Divers. He is survived by his children: Jared Hope and his wife Amanda of Pierre Part, LA, Jessie Hope of New Iberia, LA, Nicole Hope of New Iberia, LA Mother: Joann Houston Hope of Winter Haven, Florida, Brothers: Greg Hope of Winter Haven, Florida Eddie Hope of Florida , 3-Grandchildren: Aaron Fontenot of Pierre Part, LA Kassidy Hope of Pierre Part, LA Kennedy Hope of Pierre Part, LA. Mr. Hope was preceded in death by his Father: Boyd Hope and 2 Brothers: Mike Hope and Byron Hope. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street (337) 369-6336, is in charge of Arrangements.
