Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Berry Ryan Toups, 26, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 1:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Chester officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Berry, a native and resident of Abbeville, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2007 at Singing Rivers Hospital. He was a people person, a happy guy who loved fishing and making people laugh. He is survived by his companion, Hannah Derouen of Delcambre; his parents, Dalton J. Toups, Sr. and Debbie Dawson Hamilton of Abbeville; a daughter, Aleigha Anne Toups of Abbeville; a son, Blaze Ryan Toups of Delcambre; a brother, Joseph and his wife Cher Toups of Erath; two sisters, April Toups and her fiancee Brannon Romero of Delcambre, and Tonia White of Kaplan; a maternal great grandmother, Audrey Hughes of Mill Creek, OK; and numerous aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Joseph and Derek Toups, Brannon Romero, John Derouen, George Choate, Jr., and Kirk Nunez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl and Mickey Toups, Forrest Taylor, Mitchel Nunez, and George Choates, Sr. David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling arrangements.
