Wilmer Paul Lemaire

Mr. Lemarie, a native of Kaplan, and a resident of Abbeville, passed away at 8:00PM on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Lemaire was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, who was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Stelly Lemaire; three daughters, Veronica L. Breaux and her husband Calvin, and Paulette L. Peltier and her husband Chris both of Abbeville, and Karen L. Suire and her husband Patches of Erath; two sisters, Marie L. Miller and her husband Darrell of Groves Texas, and Linda L. Broussard and her husband Kaywood of Erath; one brother, Ules J. Lemaire of Kaplan; eight grandchildren, Ashley P. Devillier, Christopher Bud Peltier, Dusty R. Uriegas, Aaron J. Uriegas, Brody J. Suire, Mia M. Uriegas, Katie M. Peltier, and Dodie R. Suire; and one great grandchild Bailey R. Devillier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulgare J. and Lillian Perry Lemaire, a daughter, Yevette L. Uriegas, and a sister, Emalie L. Cormier.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Bud Peltier, Brody J. Suire, Aaron J. Uriegas, Ashley P. Devillier, Adam J. Broussard, and Leon D. Maitre, Jr.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dusty R. Uriegas, Mia M. Uriegas, Katie M. Peltier, and Dodie R. Suire.
