Patoutville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Leodias J. L.J. Hebert Jr., age 90, at 11:00AM Saturday February 10, 2007 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum in New Iberia. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00AM till service time at St. Nicholas Church in Lydia with a Rosary being prayed at 10:00AM. in the Church. He died Thursday February 8, 2007 at 7:55PM at his residence in Patoutville. A native and lifelong resident of Patoutville Mr. L.J. was an avid fisherman and traveler. He and Miss Pearl loved entertaining their friends. He was a man who was very generous to his family and his Church. He and Miss Pearl were livingly devoted to each other in marriage for the past 69 years. He was affectionately known to everyone as Hon . The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent love and care given to Mr. L.J. by all of his caregivers. Survivors include his wife; Pearl Naquin Hebert of Patoutville, one daughter; Phyllis H. Luke and husband Grant of Patoutville, one son; Lynn J. Hebert and wife Anita of New Iberia, one sister; Olga Pinkie Prevost of New Iberia , one brother; Earl Toe Hebert of Jeanerette, Grandchildren; Jennifer Blackburn and husband Tommy of Houston, Texas, Rachel Mouton and husband Tony of Duson, La., Kevin Picard and wife Carrie of Lydia, La., Jeff Hebert and wife Laura of Grand Junction, Colorado, Thomas Hebert and wife Dawn of New Iberia, Matthew Hebert and fiance Carmen Naquin of Franklin and Stephen Hebert of New Iberia, Great Grandchildren; Tylor Picard of New Iberia, La., Courtlyn Boudreaux of Duson, La., Kirsten Hebert of New Iberia, La., Cam Picard of Lydia, La. Ella Blackburn and Lainey Blackburn both of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Leodias J. Hebert, Sr. and Clothilde Hebert Hebert and one brother Howard Hebert. Pallbearers will be Lynn Hebert, Grant Luke, Matthew Hebert, Stephen Hebert, Kevin Picard and Tylor Picard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Hebert, Thomas Hebert, Rachel Mouton and Jennifer Blackburn. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
