Lafayette - Funeral Services for Eve Grace Hebert Boutte, 72, will be Monday, January 29, 2007 at 6:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette with Rev. Felix Sellers officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, January 29, 2007 from 12:00PM until 10:00PM. Interment will be at a later date.

Mrs. Boutte a native of Lafayette and a resident of Youngsville died on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10:00PM at her residence. She worked as a waitress at Shortys in Broussard for over 18 years, then worked as a nurses assistant at a local nursing home for 3 yrs. She loved reading, crocheting, and using her computer, but must of all she loved the Lord.

She is survived by four sons, John Allen Breaux and his wife Yvonne Breaux of Milton, Mike Meshell and his wife Lori Meshell of Charleston, SC, Bill Meshell, Jr. of Escambia, FL, and Russell Boutte, Jr. and his wife Dayna Boutte of Duson; two daughters, Mary Meshell Bourque and her husband Allen Bourque of Lafayette, and Jean Domingue and her husband Randy Domingue of Carencro; a sister, Glenda Cormier and her husband Christian Cormier of Youngsville; eleven grandchildren, Adam Romero of New Iberia, Trisha Willis of Lafayette, Alex Bourque of Lafayette, Corin Boutte and Payton Boutte of Duson, Mike Meshell , Jr., Robert Meshell, and Suzette Meshell all of Charleston, SC, Joey Bourque of Lafayette, and Michael Taylor and David Taylor both of Charleston, SC; and three great grandchildren, Baylyn Bourque, Kylon Leger, Kameron Landry all of Lafayette; and her step-father, Charles Broussard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mozart Hebert and Beulah Duhon Broussard; a son, Baby Boy Meshell; a daughter, Mary Margaret Meshell; two brothers, Lloyd Hebert, and Paul Roy Hebert; and a grandson, Wayne Alleman.
