New Iberia- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Luley J. Domingues the former Enide Delahoussaye, Age 87, at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Visitation will begin Monday, February 26, 2007, from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will be held again Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. She died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at 9:20 PM at a New Iberia hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish Mrs. Domingues was lovingly cared for by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey and Georgia Domingues in LaGrange, California , Pat and Louise Domingues and Thomas Wayne Domingues here in New Iberia. She loved playing cards, watching T.V. and reading. She enjoyed cooking Cajun foods. Her heroes were her husband and three sons. She was a kind, gentle soul who always wore a smile. She was a humble woman who never complained and was easy to care for and easy to love. Her lovely face and smile will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her three sons; Pat Domingues and wife Louise of New Iberia, Thomas Wayne Domingues of New Iberia and Mickey Domingues and wife Georgia of LaGrange, California; sisters-in-law Aunt Dola and Aunt Flo both of Vermilion Parish; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luley J. Domingues; her parents, Clodomire Delahoussaye and Emela Frederick Delahoussaye; three brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Shawn Domingues, Dave Dore, Danny Richard, Clyde Nugier, Charles Nugier and Chris Beisser. Honorary pallbearers will be her three sons, Pat, Thomas Wayne and Mickey Domingues. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
