Abbeville- Funeral Services for Joseph Lee Osborne, Sr, 67, will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00AM at Harvest Time Tabernacle with Rev. Jimmy Richard officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 2:00PM at Waresville Cemetery in Utopia, TX.

Mr. Osborne, a native of Poolville, TX, and a resident of Abbeville, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at 1:15AM at Lafayette General Hospital. He was in aviations as a helicopter pilot for over 40 years. The last 20 years of his career was with Air Logistics.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Moore Osborne of Abbeville; two sons, Terry Osborne of West Monroe and Joseph Jody Lee Osborne, Jr. and his wife Monica of Austin, TX; two daughters, Audra Lee Osborne of Fort Worth, TX and Tina Marie Vice and her husband Jason of South Bend, IN; a sister, Mary McBride of Poolville, TX; and five grandchildren, Cheridan Kirkpatrick of Weatherford, TX, Jade Michael Tutherow of Virginia, Boston Osborne of West Monroe, Lily Vice of South Bend, IN, and Daniel Vice of South Bend, IN.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Osborne and Leola Mauney Osborne.

Pallbearers will be his fellow pilots at Air Logistics

David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling arrangements.
