Lafayette - Funeral services for Michael Paul "Mike" Muffoletto, 57, will be held on Saturday March 3, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Fr. Peter Emusa officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday March 2, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume on Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Broussard. Mr. Muffoletto a native of Jeanerette, Louisiana and a resident of Broussard, Louisiana died on Wednesday February 28, 2007 at 11:55 PM in Lafayette General Medical Center of Lafayette. He was a Sales Manager for Prudential Insurance for the past 10 years. Mr. Muffoletto is survived by his wife Janice Landry Muffoletto; six sons, Chad Muffoletto and his wife Audrey of Lafayette, Christopher Muffoletto and his wife Melody of Bossier City, Steven Joseph Muffoletto and his companion Carrie Artigue of Lafayette, Matthew Muffoletto , Jacob Muffoletto and Brennan Muffoletto of Broussard; two daughters, Casey Muffoletto and her fiance Joe Derouen of Coteau and Kari Muffoletto of Broussard; two brothers, Joseph Muffoletto, Jr. and his wife Cindy of New Iberia and Bobby Muffoletto and his wife Yvonne of Jeanerette; one sister Mona Zehner and her husband Damian of Jeanerette. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Abigail Muffoletto, Emma Muffoletto, Gabriel Muffoletto, Alex Muffoletto all of Lafayette, Shelby Muffoletto and Caleb Muffoletto both of Bossier City, Cameron Fontenot of Coteau and Hayden Austin of Lake Charles. Mr. Muffoletto is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Muffoletto, Sr. and Hortense Autry Muffoletto and also one brother, George Muffoletto.
