Erath- Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath Monday, April 2, 2007 at 10:30 AM for Walter Joseph Thibodeaux , 84. The Rev. Wayne Duet will conduct the funeral mass with burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed Sunday, April 1, 2007 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue Monday from 8AM till services at 10:30 AM. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6:30 PM at David Funeral Home in Erath. Walter is survived by his loving wife Julia Hazel Lee Thibodeaux of Erath, LA; his children, Robert Paul Thibodeaux and wife Jenelle, Danny Karl Thibodeaux and wife Vickie, Anthony E. Hebert and wife Sandy, Julia Jacquline Hebert Theriot and husband Herman, Marcus Lee Hebert and wife Mel and Maria Elizabeth Shexnayder and husband Darson; one brother, Wilbert Tim Thibodeaux. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Felix Thibodeaux, and his mother Marcelite Boudreaux Thibodeaux, his brothers, L.T. Thibodeaux, Elton Thibodeaux, Whitney Thibodeaux, and Percy Thibodeaux; his sisters Agnes Broussard, Marida Bergeron, Lillian Taylor, Philoman Courville, and his first wife, Edwina Bertrand Thibodeaux.
