Christopher Lee Camacho

New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Christopher Lee Camacho, 30, on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Rev. Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, Christopher died on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 4:20 PM at his residence. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycling. He was a devoted and great father and loved his children above all. Chris also completed the Mens Cursillo #380 on May 19 " 22, 2002 in Prairie Ronde, LA.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Camacho Broussard; daughter, Amilee Camacho; son, Dominic Camacho; sister, Lacie Frederick; ½ brother, William Broussard; ½ sister, Candice Broussard; maternal grandmother, Celia Camacho; sister, Elizabeth Romero; brothers, Daniel and Michael Camacho all of New Iberia; sister, Rebecca Vercher of Manderville; brother, Andrew Camacho of St. Martinville; sisters, Celia Ann Patout of New Iberia and Juanita Escuriex of Rayne; brothers, Eugene Camacho of Breaux Bridge and Lupe Camacho; sister, Gloria Bourque; brother, Paul Camacho, Jr.; brother-in-law, Seth Pattillo; sister-in-law, Ashleigh Pattillo; father-in-law, Wes Pattillo; mother-in-law, Vicki Pattillo; former wife, Kali Pattillo; special cousin, David Patout, Jr.; godchildren, Aidan Romero, Alyssa Broussard; nephews, Logan and Brey Landry and Landon Broussard; godchild, Aaron Camacho; nephews, Tyler and Zane Frederick; cousin, Steven Camacho; nephew, Dominique Camacho, nieces, Raven Romero, Amber, Natassja and Emilee Camacho all of New Iberia; godfather, Mike Vercher of Manderville and many other relatives and friends that loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Camacho, Sr. and his uncle, Lee Camacho.

Pallbearers will be Danny Camacho, David Patout, Jr., William Broussard, Seth Pattillo, Steven Camacho, Ian Gondran, Shane Frederick and Rusty Romero.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Frederick, Dominique Camacho, Seth Patout, Sy Patout, Dominic Camacho, Trey Oubre and Logan Landry.
