New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Shuble George Tenney, 29, affectionately known as Scooby-Doo on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve LeBlanc officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at David Funeral Home in New Iberia.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Tenney died on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 9:40 p.m. near Opelousas from injuries received in a automobile accident. He loved his music, tinkering with cars and motors and he also loved to travel.

He is survived by his brother, Preston Tenney, Sr. and his wife Tina; sisters, Edie Boudreaux and her husband Brad, Sr. and Siana Romero and her husband Tracy; niece, Shana Simon; nephews, Preston Tenney, Jr., Brad Boudreaux, Jr., T. J. Romero, Arron Romero all of New Iberia and Tyler Simon of Cecilia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tilman Tenney; mother, Hermaine Hayward Angel Girard and his special friend Heather Deville.

Pallbearers wwill be Preston Tenney, Sr., Brad Boudreaux, Sr., Tracy Romero, Brent Deville, Jacob Deville and Brian Turner.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
