LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER

Jeanerette"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Wilson Joe Clark, the former Genevieve Borel, 89, will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 2:30 A.M. in a Jeanerette care facility.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Clark, affectionately known to all as Miss Vee , was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a wonderful Cajun cook and she enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Clark was a dedicated homemaker whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family.

Survivors include her son, Glenn G. Clark of Jeanerette; granddaughters, Candice and Tracy Clark of Jeanerette; and great-granddaughter, Blaire Clark of Jeanerette.

Preceding Mrs. Clark in death were her husband, Wilson Joe Clark; parents, Denis and Maria Bourque Borel; sister, Inez Tut Borel; and brothers, Lawrence T-Boy Borel and Herbert Kanai Borel.

Serving as pallbearers are friends and family of Mrs. Clark.

David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
