Hazel Menard Toups

November 29, 1920 — June 6, 2007

Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Adam Toups, the former Hazel Menard Bourque, 86, will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 4:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Erath. Father Paul Broussard will be officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 9:00AM. until 4:00PM at David Funeral Chapel with a rosary prayed at 1:00PM. A native and resident of Erath, Mrs. Toups passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 3:10AM. at an Abbeville Hospital. Survivors include her son, Ray Bourque,Sr. and wife,Therese of Erath; her sisters, Kelly Broussard of Erath, and Peggy Brasseaux of Lafayette; five grandchildren,and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Renie Bourque, and her second husband Adam Toups; her parents, Lodias and Clarice Schexnayder Menard; two brothers, Lovelace, and Kenneth Menard; and three great grandchildren. Servings as pallbearers will be Brady Bourque, Lee Galtier, Jonathan Galtier, Carl CoCo Broussard, Lovelace Broussard, and Larry Escuriex. Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd John Bourque, Jake Viator, and Tiffany Chantel Bourque. David Funeral Home of Erath is in charge of arrangements.
