New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Wilson Myers the former Theresa Walker, Monday March 26, 2007 at 10:00AM at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Father Gary Schexnayder officiating. Interment will follow in Nativity Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday March 25, 2007 from 3:00PM till 9:00PM with a Rosary at 6:30PM and again Monday from 8:00AM till time of service. She died Thursday March 22, 2007 at 11:45PM in the St. Martinville Nursing Home. A native of New Iberia Mrs. Myers had been a resident of St. Martinville for the past 5 years. She retired from the National Food Store after 22 years of service. Survivors include one son; Darryl Myers and wife Lena of Lafayette, one daughter; Elaine M. Schmidt and husband Gary of Berkley Heights, New Jersey, two brothers; Elton Walker and wife Eula Mae and Kenwood Walker and wife Connie all of New Iberia, one sister; Shirley Walker of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Grandchildren; Yates Usie and Joshua Usie both of Breaux Bridge, Danette Myers of New Iberia, Blaire Myers and Jonathon Myers both of Lafayette and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Myers, son; Dwayne Myers, parents; Michel and Enola Landry Walker, one sister; Mae W. Hayes and three brothers; Mitchell Walker, Gordy Walker an Lloyd Walker. Pallbearers will be Darryl Myers, Jonathon Myers, Yates Usie, Josh Usie, Kenwood Walker and Elton Walker. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
