Carl Harold Stages, Sr.
March 7, 1935 — August 3, 2009
A native of Sayre, OK. and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Stages died Tuesday August 3, 2009 at 9:00PM in a local hospital. He retired after 35 years of employment with Degussa Carbon Plant now Evonik Carbon Plant. Mr. Stages was a member of the Masonic Lodge #255 F&AM of Jeanerette.
Mr. Stages is survived by his wife Claire Swafford Stages of Jeanerette; sons, Carl H. Stages, Jr. and wife Mary Sue, Charles B. Stages and companion Darlene Brasseaux; daughters, Sherry S. Smith and husband Steve, Dana S. Jumonville and husband Ernest Bose , and Debras McQueen; sister, Sylvia S. McBride; grandchildren, Jason Jumonville, Linzy Stages, Cody Smith, Shea Smith, Pherra Stages, Theresa Stages; and great-grandchild, Hayden Jumonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Stages, Sr. and Eula Stockbridge Stages; brother, John W. Stages, Jr.; sisters, Bernice McBride and Golda Gray.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
