Linwood Crochet

Loreauville - Funeral services will be conducted for Linwood Full Choke Crochet, 65, on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Mario Romero officiating. Entombment with military rites conducted by V.F.W. Post 1982 of New Iberia will be in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will begin on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 8:00 AM until service time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 PM. A native and lifelong resident of Loreauville, Mr. Crochet died on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at 3:17 PM in the V. A. Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. He was an Automobile Adjuster for Mercury for 20 plus years. He was survived by his daughter, Marie Crochet of Fontana, CA; three brothers, Q. B. Crochet of Long Beach, CA, Eugene Crochet and his wife Freda of Marion, OH, Errol Crochet and his wife Cynthia of Loreauville; and two grandsons, Anthony and Zachary Crochet both of Fontana, CA. He was also survived by his former wife Mary Crochet of Fontana, CA and his beloved pet, Jake. Pallbearers will be Sherry Jeske, Robert Durand, Gregory Prados, Dickie Broussard, Glen Romero, Jr, Larry Crochet, and Stormy Champagne. Honorary Pallbearers will be Francis Trahan, Gregory Trahan, Philip Broussard and Candi Guillot. David Funeral Home of Loreauville is in charge of the arrangements.
