View Video Tribute Lafayette- Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10 AM for Mary Lou Faulk Fournerat, 68. The Rev. Louis Richard will conduct the funeral service assisted by Deacon Joe Trahan. The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 from 10:30 AM till 9PM and continue Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 8 AM till time of services. A rosary will be prayed Tuesday evening at 7 PM. Mary was born in Kaplan, LA on May 20, 1938 and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette. She graduated from LaGrange High School in Lake Charles and attended McNeese State University. She is survived by her loving husband D.J. Fournerat of Lafayette, LA; four daughters, Kathy Larue and her husband Mike of Richmond, VA, Doris McBride and her husband Pierre of Lafayette, LA, Susan Younger of Abbeville, LA, and Mandy Landry and husband Troy of Broussard, LA; and one brother, Cliff Faulk and wife Karen of Harvey, LA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Faulk,, Chris Faulk, Jared Ashley, Cliff Faulk, Mike Larue, and Troy Landry. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Landry, Pierre McBride, and Nick Hall. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Ewell Faulk and her mother, Agnes Touchet. The family would like to express a word of gratitude to a special care giver, Earline Freeman, and the nurses at Lafayette General Hospital.
