Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother New Iberia ~ Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Tilly P. Dooley, the former Hazel Theriot, age 74 at 3:00 PM Wednesday May 23, 2007 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Rev. Jude Halphen officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday May 22, 2007 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume Wednesday May 23, 2007 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Tuesday May 22, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Dooley died Monday May 14, 2007 at 10:55 PM in the Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Mrs. Dooley was a native and long time resident of New Iberia, a former resident of Marietta, Georgia and a resident of Tucson, Arizona at the time of her death. Mrs. Dooley prior to her retirement was employed as a nurse at the office of Dr. Harold Flory for 25 years and at Consolata Nursing Home for 8 years. She enjoyed crocheting, Cajun music and playing Bingo. Mrs. Dooley is survived by her husband Tilly P. Dooley of Tucson, Arizona, a daughter; Sheila Dooley and her companion Ferdinand DeHaan of Tucson, Arizona, two grandchildren; Louise Collberg of Frisco, Texas and Andrew Collberg of Tucson, Arizona and a brother Julien Theriot of New Iberia. Mrs. Dooley was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Theriot and Florida Tabor Theriot. Pallbearers will be Michael Pilman,Gary Louvierre, Patrick Dooley, Nicholas Dooley and Ferdinand DeHaan.
