NEW IBERIA " Services for Mrs. John Ollie Doc LeBlanc, the former Nettie Champeaux, 97, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, May 14, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Onuegbe officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Monday, May 14, 2007, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at David Funeral Home. A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. LeBlanc died at 2:05 PM Sunday, May 13, 2007, in a New Iberia nursing home. Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of Council on Aging and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1982. She was a retired saleslady and worked in New Iberia for 36 years at The Hub, Weils and Abadallas Department Stores. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Claude (Anne) Broussard; nieces, Freddie Anne Tucker and Sylvia C. Latiolais, all of New Iberia; nephews, Gene Champeaux and, Roland Champeaux both of Loreauville, Glenn Champeaux and Ned Champeaux Jr. both of New Iberia, Donnie Champeaux of Cade, and C.J. Broussard, Jr. of Baton Rouge; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband, John Ollie Doc LeBlanc; parents, Louis and Yola Broussard Champeaux; and brothers, Leonard, Fred and Ned Champeaux Sr. Pallbearers will be Gene, Roland, Donnie and Ned Champeaux Jr., C.J. Broussard and Ricky Tucker. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
