Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. L.J. Mookie Comeaux, Jr. the former Linda Comeaux, age 65, at 2:00PM Tuesday May 22, 2007 at Our Savior Church in Broussard . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Visitation will be Monday May 21, 2007 from 2:00PM till 9:00PM and again Tuesday May 22, 2007 from 8:00AM till time of service. She died Saturday May 19, 2007 in a Lafayette hospital.

Mrs. Comeaux enjoyed dancing and reading her Bible. She loved caring for and being with her family and was the worlds best cook. She was the most loving and giving person known to her family. She also loved her pets, Mattie, Gracie and Sandy.

Survivors include her husband L.J. Mookie Comeaux of New Iberia, four daughters; Melanie Ayers and husband Rick of Alexandria, Stacie Disotell and husband Mark of New Iberia, Julie Comeaux Stevens and Husband Mark of Youngsville and Alisa Fuselier of Lafayette, one son; Kevin Comeaux, Sr. of New Iberia, grandchildren; Lori, Ricky, Chase, Ireland, Gabrielle, Taylor, Madison, Rylie, Kayla, Candace, Juliana, Kevin Jr., Chris, Kristen, Chad and Austin, great-grandchildren Breighann, Brendon, Jewel and Robert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Sabre Joseph and Stella Borel Comeaux and one brother, Ronnie Comeaux.

Pallbearers will be Chase Ayers, Ricky Ayers III, Rick Ayers, Chad Stevens, Mark Disotell, Mark Stevens, Chris Richardson and Kevin Comeaux, Jr., Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Boudreaux and Jerry Rabeaux.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
