Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Harold Frank Bill Barrilleaux, 80, on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum. Military graveside rites will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 1982 of New Iberia. Visitation will begin on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Barrilleaux died on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 5:15 AM at his residence. He served in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II having served in the US Navy and took part in four invasions. He retired from B. J. Hughes as Office Manager after twenty-three years of employment. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, cabinet making and mostly enjoyed being with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lily Jane Gachassin Barrilleux of New Iberia; his daughter, Antonia Wenberg of Hawaii; his grandsons, Michael Shane Dieudonne of San Antonia, TX, James Dieudonne andDavid Dieudonne and his wife Shirley both of Hawaii; his brother, Lionel P. Dud Barrilleaux of New Iberia and his sister Mrs. Donald (Margie Badgie ) Dooley of Jeanerette. He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neville and Emma Trahan Barrilleaux; his brother, Percy Barrilleaux and his sisters, Mrs. Polk (Mabel) Mire and Mrs. Alcide (Hazel) Guillotte. Pallbearers will be Nick Gachassin, Jr., Todd Gachassin, Buddy Gachassin, Wally Romero, Carroll Fuselier, Jr. and Don Dugon. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
