LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, AND GRANDMOTHER

Jeanerette"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Allen Boudoin, Sr., the former Linda LeJeune, 43, of Jeanerette will be celebrated on Friday, May 25, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until service time.

Mrs. Boudoin passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 1:20 P.M. in her Jeanerette residence.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Boudoin loved helping others, which she demonstrated through her volunteer work with S.N.A.P. and Rape Crisis Center. She enjoyed writing poetry and songs, and was an animal lover, especially her dogs, Allie, Betsy, and Carly Sue.

Survivors include her husband, Allen A. Boudoin, Sr. of Jeanerette; parents, Gerald and Marjorie Landry LeJeune of Jeanerette; daughters, Rachelle Boudoin and companion, Gene Migues of Jeanerette and Ferran Rogers and husband, Mikey of Jeanerette; sons, Allen Boudoin, Jr. and companion, Erica Deare of Jeanerette, Wesley Boudoin and companion, Roxie Bayard of Jeanerette, and Cody Boudoin of Jeanerette; grandson, Drew Rogers of Jeanerette; sisters, Anna Myers and husband Kurt (Guzzo) of Jeanerette, Laura Downey and husband, Tom of New Iberia, and Elizabeth Trimble and husband, Patrick of Jeanerette; brothers, Jerry LeJeune of Texas and David LeJeune and wife, Laurie of Jeanerette; grandparents, Dorthy and Walter Landry of Jeanerette; and Godchild, Ben Myers and wife, Jaci of Jeanerette.

Preceding her in death was her son, Elliott John Boudoin.

Serving as pallbearers are Allen Boudoin, Jr., Mike Rogers, Jr., Gene Migues, Ben Myers, Danny Bayard, Jr., and Richard Guillotte. Named as honorary pallbearers are Wesley Boudon, Cody Boudoin, Drew Michael Rogers, and Clay Boudoin.
