Enola Racca Schexnayder

Abbeville - A Funeral Service for MrsHenry Schexnayder, the former Enola Racca, 85, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, May 26, 2007, at David Funeral Chapel of Abbevillewith Father Gregory Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM, with a rosary prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 8:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Baudion Cemetery .

Mrs. Schexnayder , a native of Kaplan and a resident of Maurice passed away May 24, 2007, at 6:26 AM at Lafayette.

She is survivedby four sons, Lorris Schexnayder and wife Ethel of Lafayette; Norris Schexnayder and wife Shirley of Baton Rouge, Johnny Schexnayder of Lydia; Bobby Schexnayder of Maurice, four daughters, Irene Harrington and husband Jeffrey of Maurice, Betty Trahan and husband Dalton of Lafayette, Flaudry Gary and husband Michael of Maurice, Kathy Vincent of Maurice , three sisters, Velma Faulk and husband Melvin of Abbeville,Verna Racca and Gertie Morvant both of Kaplan and Myrtis Racca of Abbeville, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Schexnayder; her parents, Odea and Edia Duhon Racca; one grandson Tommy Schexnayder and one great-grandson Kevin Veronie.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Cormier, Brandon Dejean, Chantel Gary, Jamie Schexnayder, Bobby Schexnayder and Jeffery Harrington, Jr.
