Erath-A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Willis Gary, the former Verna Mae Trahan, 60, will be held on Thursday June 14, 2007 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday June 13, 2007 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Thursday June 14, 2007 at 8:00AM until time of service. Internment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mrs.Gary a native of Youngsville and a resident of Erath passed away Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 6:00AM at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Willis Gary of Erath; her mother, Nola Touchet of Youngsville; her two sons, Kelly Trahan and his wife Diana, and Blaine Gary and his wife Marlena all of Erath; two brothers, Clevin Touchet of St. Martinville and Allen Touchet of Youngsville; four sisters, Gladys Romero, Susie Breaux, Janelle Segura all of New Iberia and Sandra Richard of St.Martinville; three grandsons, Anthony Trahan,Trevor Trahan and Logan Paul Gary all of Erath; one great-granddaughter Chloe Trahan of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her father Wilmer Trahan. Pallbearers will be Blaine Gary, Willis Gary, Anthony Trahan, Trevor Trahan, Allen Touchet and Wilmer Gary. David Funeral Home of Erath is in charge of arrangements.
