A FRIEND TO ALL Lydia"A Mass of Christian Burial for Everette L. Clark, 88, will be celebrated on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Nicholas Catholic Church. The Reverend Donovan Labbe will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Patoutville. Visitation will be held in St. Nicholas Catholic Church on Thursday, November 22, 2007 from 8:00 A.M. until service time, with a rosary to be recited at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Clark passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 8:50 P.M. in his Lydia residence. A native of Patoutville and longtime resident of Weeks Island, Mr. Clark had lived in Lydia for many years. He loved outdoor activities, including camping and fishing, and worked on his fathers farm, where he raised and rode horses and raised cattle. Mr. Clark was a member of the Sheriffs Posse during the Jerry Wattigny years. Mr. Clark is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his special friend and caregiver Aline F. Bergeron of Lydia. Preceding Mr. Clark in death was his wife, Doris Mae Bonin Clark; parents, Wiley and Sedonia Gary Clark; twin sister and brother, Delta Clark and Delton J. Clark, Sr.; brother, Francis Clark; and sisters, Winnice Choate and Rena Pepper. Serving as pallbearers are Ronald Clark, Darrell Choate, Mark Charpentier, Roy Charpentier, Clyde Clark, and Delton Clark, Jr. Named as honorary pallbearers are Neil Clark, Curtis Broussard, Tim Baranco, Jeffery Clark, Rusty Clark, Nathan Baranco, Kaleb Baranco, Jason LaBiche, and Jeremy LaBiche.
