Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Dallas Pierre LeBlanc, 70 will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 beginning at 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, November 29, 2007 beginning at 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.

Mr. LeBlanc a native of Delcambre and a resident of Erath died at 2:25PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at his residence. He was a member of the LeBlanc Community Fire Department for over 20 years. He was employeed with Diamond Crystal Salt Mine for over 20 years and retired from Vermilion Parish Police Jury after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Glorine Richard LeBlanc of Erath; two sons, Darrell LeBlanc and his wife Michelle of Erath, and David LeBlanc and his wife Patricia of Lake Charles; two brothers, Hadwing and Stafford LeBlanc and his wife Dianna both of Erath; three sisters, Della Lopez and her husband Johnny of Erath, Leanna Richard and her husband Alton of Abbeville, and Eldred Landry of Coteau; two grandsons, Travis and Marcus LeBlanc both of Erath; three granddaughters, Adrienne LeBlanc, Kaitlynn LeBlanc, and Morganne LeBlanc all of Lake Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simmonette and Edith Bouillion LeBlanc, a brother, Hargest LeBlanc, his mother-in-law, Ozite L. Richard, a brother-in-law, Earl Landry; and a sister-in- law, Velma LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be member of the family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
