Loreauville " Funeral Services will be conducted for Albert Joseph Lissard, Jr., Age 95, at2:00PM Thursday May 10, 2007 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Loreauville, La. with Father Mario Romero officiating. Visitation will begin Thursday from 10:00AM till time of services. AND WHEN HE HAS TESTED ME AS GOLD IN A FIRE, HE WILL PRONOUNCE ME INNOCENT. FOR I HAVE STAYED IN GODS PATHS; I HAVE FOLLLOWED HIS WAYS AND NOT TURNED ASIDE. I HAVE NOT DEPARTED FROM HIS COMMANDS, BUT HAVE TREASURED HIS WORD IN MY HEART. HE CONTROLS MY DESTINY. JOB 23:9-14 Albert Joseph Lissard, Jr. was reunited with his family and his Lord May 7, 2007. He passed away at Sherwood Manor Rehabilitation Facility in Baton Rouge. He resided at the facility for 5 years, but his heart longed for the fields of Belle Place. He leaves behind to his family a living example of Gods unconditional love for us all. He was born October 21, 1911 at Belle Place. Survivors include his children, Randal Gerard Lissard and wife Tranane and Linda Lissard Benoit and husband Frank all of Baton Rouge. Grandchildren, Lacee Marie, Griffon and Carrington Bailey Lissard , Michelle Clare Benoit, Brent Paul Benoit and wife Meredith, Alicia Claire Lissard all of Baton Rouge and Dr. Janine Tracy Lissard Coe and husband Lester Coe of Destrehan. Great-grandchildren, Claire-Scott Ann Lynch, Mary Margret Mae and Connor James Lynch , William Luc and Emma Catherine Benoit all of Baton Rouge and Lila Lee Coe of Destrehan. He was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Segura Lissard, his parents, Albert Joseph Lissard, Sr. and Aurlie Gonsoulin Lissard, one son, Dr. Eugene Jude Lissard, great-grandaughter, Madeline Mary Lynch, brothers, Armand and Desire Lissard and a sister Helen Lissard Benoit.
