Abbeville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. George Warren, the former Eleanor Faye LaFleur, 63, will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 1:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, June 4, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Warren a native of Ville Platte, La. and a resident of Abbeville died Friday, June 1, 2007 at 4:30PM in Abbeville. Faye as she was known to all was taken to soon and will be lovingly remembered by her family and her many dear friends. She was a woman of many talents and interest. Faye enjoyed sewing, diving, traveling the world, raising exotic birds, and spending time with her family and friends. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. A heartfelt thanks to Dr John Rainey and staff of St. Therese Hospice, Sister Jeanette, and especially her caregivers, Falice and Jenny Hoffpauir for their love and kindness to our mother. She is survived by three daughters, Angela and her husband John Foster of Abbeville, Shonda and her husband Edward LaBorde of Abbeville, and Windy and her husband Chad Darby of Abbeville; one son, George W. Warren, Jr. and his wife Kim of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, Jill, Jennifer, Mandy, Courtney, Drew, Kali, Chad, Harrison; three great grandchildren, Will, Avery, and soon to arrive, Addison; a sister, Marie Tonie Foreman of Duson; and a brother, Mike LaFleur of Vidrine. She is preceded in death by her husband, George William Warren, Sr.; her parents Jean Baptiste and Mary Orina Fontenot LaFleur; and a brother, J.B. Cooney LaFleur. Pallbearers will be John Foster, Edward LaBorde, Chad Darby, Drew LaBorde, Mike LaFleur, and Jill Foster. David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling the arrangements
