Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for William M. Billy Robin Jr., Age 82, at 10:00AM Friday January 4, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday January 3, 2008 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Tuesday January 1, 2008 at 9:58AM in a local hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Robin was owner of Robin Motor Company in Jeanerette. He enjoyed fishing and dancing. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include one daughter and two sons; Camille R. Robicheaux and husband Charles of New Iberia, William M. Mike Robin III and wife Cindy of Jeanerette and Lee J. Robin and wife Lisa of Dahlonega, Georgia. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; Marie Louise Bal Clary Robin, his parents; William M. Robin Sr. and Augusta Brown Robin and one sister, Claire M. Robin. Pallbearers will be Ryan and Mark Robin, Ryan Sunstrom, Joey Whitney, Lawrence Sherville and Dickie Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be William C. Robin, Camden Sunstrom,Grant Sunstrom Arthur E. Lee, Byrnes Eaves, Dr. Donald Pavy, Stephen Ardizone, Tad Blevins, Alfred Smitty Landry, Richard Hebert, Dr. N.C. Boudreaux,Dr. James Walker, Irvin Mo Moceri, Howard Snatch Hebert, Sr. and Paul Bourgeois. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
