New Iberia " Funeral services for Calvin Dale Coach Dautreuil, 71, will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jimmy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 from 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Jennings and a resident of New Iberia Mr. Dautreuil died on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at 1:20 AM in a Lafayette hospital. Mr. Dautreuil was a teacher and coach at New Iberia Senior High School, served as Assistant Principal at the Career Campus and also served as Maintenance Supervisor for the Iberia Parish School Board. Mr. Dautreuil trained and competed Field Trial Beagles, Game Cocks and Thoroughbred Race Horses.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine Gerry LaJaunie Dautreuil of New Iberia; his daughters, Franny Ann Bobbitt and her husband William Bobbitt, Sharon Kaye Dautreuil, all of New Iberia and Robin Dale Thibodeaux and her husband Henry Tiger Thibodeaux of Burke, VA;His sister, Julie Dautreuil Morgan of New Iberia; his brothers, Kenneth Dautreuil and his wife Shirley and Davis Dautreuil, Jr. all of New Iberia; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis Dautreuil, Sr. and Eva Coots Dautreuil; his son, Calvin Dale Dautreuil, Jr. and his brother, Richard Dautreuil.

Pallbearers will be David Munnerlyn, Jr., Mike Munnerlyn, Jeremy Munnerlyn, Richard Howell, II, Henry Thibodeaux, II and William Bobbitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Howell, David Munnerlyn, Sr. and Hank Thibodeaux.
