Erath " A Funeral Service for Mrs. Dennis Landry the former Leta Landry, 73, will be held at David Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 2:00PM with Fr Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:00PM and 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Mrs. Landry a native of Henry and a resident of Crowley died Friday, June 29, 2007 at 7:30PM in Crowley. She retired from J.H. Williams after over 30 years of teaching. She was a one of a kind character who enjoyed meeting people, gardening, and working with flowers. She is survived by one son, Russell J. Landry and his wife Amanda of Crowley; two daughters, Jane LeBlanc of Erath, and Denise Wheaton of Merryville; two sisters, Wanda Reed of Erath, and Margie Touchet of Henry; seven grandchildren, Shane Wheaton of Augusta, ME, Danny Wheaton of Bremerton, WA, Wanda LeBlanc of Erath, Dane LeBlanc of Knoxville, TN, Adam LeBlanc of Erath, Alexandrea Renee of Thibodeaux, and Kameryn of Ester; and one great grandchild, Bryse Braly of Erath. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis J. Landry; her parents, Mavan and Eta Soirez Landry; and two sisters, Clardean Fredrick, and Mary Lukress. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
