Rita Richard Delcambre

January 14, 1921 — July 1, 2007

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Harry Delcambre the former Rita "Mae" Richard, Age 86, at 2:00PM Tuesday July 3, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Bart Boyer officiating. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery at Bayou Petit Anse. She died Sunday July 1, 2007 at 11:30PM in a local nursing home. Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday July 3, 2007 from 10:00 AM until time of services. A native of Chacahoula she had been a resident of New Iberia most of her life. Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Delcambre, her parents; Emile and Marie LeBlanc Richard, two brothers; Lawrence and Clarence Richard and three sisters; Irene LaJaunie, Daisy Boudreaux and Edna Gagneaux. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
