Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Daly L. Duplantis the former Setsuko Ii, 77, will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, October 30, 2008 beginning at 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 8:00AM until the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Mrs. Duplantis at native of Tokyo, Japan and a resident of Erath died at 3:01AM on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at a Lafayette Hospital. She loved dancing, and animals. She was known for taking in strays. She was also known for her willingness to help out. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daly L. Duplantis of Erath; a son, Ricky P. Duplantis, Sr. of Erath; a grandson, Ricky P. Duplantis, Jr. of New Orleans; and a sister-in-law, Gloria and her husband Alvin Benoit of Erath. She was preceded in death by her parents, Yoshiatra and Yoshima Ii. Serving as pallbearers will be family members and friends. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
