LOVING FATHER AND PAPPY

New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial for A.J. Little, 75, will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. The Reverend Mike Arnaud will serve as celebrant. Entombment with military honors provided by VFW Post 1982 will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Coteau.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mr. Little passed away on Thursday, July 05, 2007 at 10:20 A.M. in his New Iberia residence.

A native of Hackberry, Mr. Little had lived in the New Iberia area for many years. He was a member of the Catholic faith, attending Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Little served in the Korean Conflict. He was working as an oilfield consultant for Swift Energy, and had also worked for Mosbacher Production. Mr. Little enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, John Kirby Little and wife, Bonnie of Orlando, FL; daughters, Karlyn Little Meyers and husband, Joseph of New Iberia and Kelly Little Norris and husband, Joseph of New Iberia; granddaughters, Morgan and Katie Little of Orlando, FL, and Kimberly, Angela, and Lindy Meyers of New Iberia; grandsons, Benjamin Little of Orlando, FL, Wesley Meyers of New Iberia; and Eric, Drake, and Jake Norris of New Iberia; brother, Clarence Little and wife, Ann of Vinton; sisters, Mary Pickett and husband, Jack of Carlyss and Dorothy Theriot and husband, Milton of Cameron; daughter-in-law, Bernita Little of Daytona, FL.; and his special friend, Lois Babineaux, who brought so much joy and happiness into A.J.'s life.

Preceding Mr. Little in death were his wife, Gloria Vincent Little; parents, Albert, Sr. and Odelia Kibodeaux Little; and a daughter, Katherine Ann Little.

Serving as pallbearers are John Kirby Little, Benjamin Little, Joseph Norris, Eric Norris, Drake Norris, Jake Norris, Wesley Meyers, and Joseph Meyers.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
