LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Albert Bourque, Sr., the former Barbara Moreaux, 60, will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. The Reverend Mark Derise will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Bourque passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 4:26 P.M. in a Lafayette hospital. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bourque was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic. She loved her family and gave of herself to help anyone in need. Survivors include sons, Albert Bourque, Jr. and wife, Tina of Youngsville and Ronald Bourque of New Iberia; daughters, Angela Bourque of New Iberia, Vanessa Soukkavong of Southbridge, MA, and Sheryl Bourque of New Iberia; brothers, Richard Moreaux of New Iberia and Raymond Moreaux and wife, Jean of New Iberia; sisters, Diane and Mary Moreaux of New Iberia; 23 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Preceding Mrs. Bourque in death were her husband, Albert Bourque, Sr.; parents, Adam and Lilia Domingue Moreaux; and brother, Eldridge Moreaux. Serving as pallbearers are Albert Bourque, Jr., Ronald Bourque, C.J. Dore, Jake Brower, Caleb Brower, Noah Brower, and Warren Labit. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
