New Iberia"Funeral services for Mr. Felicien Lou LeLeux, 87, will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon John Sarkies will officiate. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 8:30 A.M. until service time in David Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Mr. LeLeux passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 7:56 A.M. in his New Iberia residence. A native of Delcambre, Mr. LeLeux was a longtime resident of New Iberia. He was a Army-Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and taking part in the liberation of the Philippine Islands. Mr. LeLeux was a past member of V.F.W. Post 1982. He retired from Otis Engineering, where he was a wireline supervisor. Mr. LeLeux attended Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. Survivors include his daughter, Gloria LeLeux Girouard and husband, Ron of New Iberia; grandson, Scott Girouard and fianc, Leslie Ronsonet of New Iberia; and granddaughter, Susan Girouard and husband, Dirk Angelle. Preceding him in death were his wife of 45 years, Dorma Day Faul LeLeux; parents, Felicien LeLeux, Sr. and Elmire LaBauve LeLeux; sisters, Victoria LeBlanc, Aline Barres, and Edna Landry; and brothers, Francis LeLeux, Joe LeLeux, Numa LeLeux, and Gladu LeLeux. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Girouard, Susan Girouard, Ron Girouard, Dirk Angelle, Jerry Trahan, and Wayne Broussard.
