New Iberia ~ A memorial service celebrating the life of Michele Kay Knapp Dore ,known by her friends as Rosebud , will be held Tuesday September 25, 2007 at 3:30 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roland Fontenot, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church officiating.

Visiting hours with the family will be from 2:30 PM Tuesday September 25, 2007 until time of the memorial service.

Michele passed away Friday September 21, 2007 at 11:40 AM at her residence in Metairie, La. She was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Metairie. She was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She enjoyed playing pool, riding Harley Motorcycles, working crossword puzzles, flowering plants and enjoying life to the fullest.

She is survived by her parents; Ronald Knapp of New Orleans and Sami Riley of New Iberia, her children; Britni Joann Dore, Whitni (Nikki) Dore, and Katelyn Michele Dore all of New Iberia, her grandparents; Henry and Jo Ann Riley of New Iberia, her sister; Summer Fitch Jamieson and her husband Frank of New Iberia, her nephews; Jordan Delahoussaye and Seth Jamieson both of New Iberia, a niece; Mattie Mason of New Iberia and a special friend; Carl Hartsock of Metairie.

Michele was preceded in death by her grandparents K.D. and Mary Martin Knapp.
